Kiwanis Children’s Safety Day – Saturday 5-18-24
Hooksett Kiwanis Young Children’s Committee is hosting its third annual safety event on May 18th at Cawley Middle School. The Hooksett Police Department and Fire Department are helping to coordinate this event.
The Hooksett Police department will be conducting a car seat safety check, led by certified inspectors. Car seat safety and ensuring your child is buckled up properly can save your child’s life. It’s important to sign up ahead of time to secure your spot for this invaluable service. You can do so using the QR Code on the Flyer.
Additionally, children in attendance will receive a new bicycle helmet. Extra Care Auto Repair will be sponsoring a bike rodeo, including checking bicycles for safety and allow children to ride their bike through an obstacle course. Children are encouraged to bring their bikes along for this fun and educational activity.
The Fire Department will also be present with a firetruck for the children to see up close and personal.
Above and Beyond Childcare will be sponsoring a popcorn and snack table. If you have any questions or would like to help with the event, please contact Rebecca – [email protected].
