Emergency Help
If you have an emergency need, contact the Hooksett Department of Family Services at 603-485-8769.
Who is Eligible?
The Kids’ Kloset is currently open to help any child in Hooksett who needs clean school and play clothes. All families are treated with respect and privacy regardless of their personal situation.
There is a great assortment of teen clothes, too, so teens are encouraged and welcome to come check out the Kloset. Contact Family Services at 603-485-8769 and ask to be added to the contact list.
Donations
Children’s new and used clothes are greatly appreciated. They must be clean, as we have no laundering facilities.
Cash Donations
Grants and cash donations are not solicited regularly but are welcomed and appreciated. Checks may be made payable to Hooksett Kiwanis Foundation, for the “Kids’ Kloset”, and mailed to…
Hooksett Kiwanis PO Box 16443 Hooksett, NH 03106.
Limited requests are made for special events such as “Back to School” month in August. Also, Salvation Army grants allow us to purchase new socks and underwear.
Whether you have kids’ clothes and items to donate or need “gently worn” clothing for your children, we hope you will consider the Kids’ Kloset.
Places to Drop off Donations

The Kids’ Kloset began by focusing on the needs of school-age children. This includes young children through young adults. Usable clothing includes jeans, shirts, tops, dresses, clean shoes and boots, jackets, and ski pants.
Infant and baby clothes are also accepted, as there may be other children in the family. Usable items include outfits, formula, and diapers. No baby equipment such as strollers, jumpers, or bassinettes can be accepted due to unknown recalls and safety issues.
