January 15, 2025 Kiwanis/SLP Dinner – Hooksett Memorial School 6:00 PM We will be doing a community service project with our SLPs, putting together Valentine Day Gift Bags for residents of Hackett Hill Center.
February 11, 2025 Kiwanis Dinner Meeting – Oscar Barn 6:30 PM – Speaker TBD
Past Dinner Meetings – Hooksett Kiwanis Christmas Dinner/Auction
Despite the rainy, foggy, and gloomy weather outside, Hooksett Kiwanis members had a jolly time at the annual Christmas Party/Auction this past week. Colorfully festooned for the seasonal Holiday events, the Oscar Barn provided a cozy and festive atmosphere for the attendees who were not surprisingly animated with smiles and laughter. The banquet featured a choice of prime rib or chicken, both of which were delectable. Compliments to the chef(s), who never disappoint.
As part of the auction, 40 gift items were raffled off, including Red Sox tickets, a handmade wooden whirligig, a handmade canoe, and kayak paddles. Thanks to the generosity of many, the Club raised almost $3,000 which will help defray the costs of the many community initiatives that support the Kiwanis mission of improving the world, one child and one community at a time.
