President’s Message
Dear Kiwanis Family,
Happy New Year, everyone! As we step into 2025, I am filled with optimism for the year ahead. I wish all of you happiness, good health, and a year full of meaningful moments—whether through service, community, or camaraderie.
This calendar year marks a special milestone for our club as we prepare to celebrate our 25th Anniversary starting in September October 2025! Planning is already underway for this exciting occasion, and we would love for you to be a part of it. If you’re interested in contributing to the preparations, it’s not too late to get involved! Contact Committee Chair, Bob Willey [email protected].
We also have two wonderful opportunities to come together as a Club in January, and I encourage everyone to participate. First, on Wednesday, January 15, we’ll be gathering at Hooksett Memorial School for our Service Leadership Program (SLP) meeting. There, we’ll hear from members of our SLP-sponsored clubs about the service they’ve been engaged in over the past couple of months, and we’ll work alongside students to assemble Valentine’s bags for the Hackett Hill Center.
Additionally, on Tuesday, January 21, we have the chance to attend the Hooksett/Manchester Clubs Social Inter-Club to welcome LTG Laura Nesmith for her official visit and to celebrate Kiwanis’ 110th Anniversary at the Puritan Backroom Restaurant in the Pappas Room.
I also hope that you all had a wonderful holiday season, surrounded by family and loved ones. Let’s carry that spirit of joy and giving into the new year as we continue our mission to serve others and make a lasting impact.
Wishing you all a fantastic 2025!
Yours in Service and Friendship,
Amy Merrow
