Hooksett Memorial School’s K Kids – Book Drive
Our new Hooksett Memorial K Kids has completed their first service project in April. During March (National Reading Month) they collected over 200 Children’s books (new or gently used). They collaborated with the Elliot Pediatric Office here in Hooksett to have them available for children while waiting for their appointment and they will be able to take them home after the appointment if they like. We also made arrangements with the Friends of the Hooksett Library to replenish the books in the future.
A big “Thank you!” goes out to Matt Barrett for making a bookcase to display the books. In next month’s Newsletter we will have picture of the presentation to Elliot Office with the finished product.
