New England and Bermuda News Club:

Immediate Past Governor Eli Rivera of the Kiwanis Club of Keene along with Lt Governor Jeff Coburn of the Kiwanis of Claremont NH had the privilege of visiting Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth (CHAD) to give the pediatric ophthalmic department a donation of $12,354. It would have not been possible without the amazing NEBD Kiwanians support. Thanks to all the Kiwanians that participated during the 2023-2024 First Lady’s auction and the matching funds by KFNE. This is the first donation of it kind that was earmarked for the pediatric ophthalmic department and they could not thank us enough for the gesture. Director of Development for Child Health Initiative Polly Anton, Dr.’s Janine Eagle and Erin Salcone joined us to recieve the donation. We also learned that Dr Salcone was sponsored through a grant, while interning at CHAD, by Kiwanis to travel to Ecuador as part of her internship. Thank you! Look forward to an everlasting partnership and support for NH’s Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth.

Camp Sunshine:

Several members of the New England and Bermuda District recently visited Camp Sunshine, and provided lunch compliments of Texas Roadhouse. Camp Sunshine is sponsored by Kiwanis. They did this during the Leadership Camp which was held in October on Sebago Lake in Maine.
