President’s Message
Greetings, Fellow Hooksett Kiwanians!
As we approach Thanksgiving, it’s the perfect moment to reflect on gratitude. I am truly thankful for each of you for being part of our club. Together, we are on a mission to make a positive difference in the world—one child and one community at a time. The work we do is essential, and I am grateful to share this journey with all of you.
This month, I want to highlight a few key areas that fill me with gratitude about Kiwanis:
- Opportunities that Bring Us Together: Coming together helps us strengthen our relationships within the club. I invite you to join us for Casino Night at Revo Casino on November 7th, and our monthly SLP meeting at Hooksett Memorial School on November 13th.
- Opportunities to Strengthen Passion for Service Leadership: Let’s continue to engage in service and leadership. Whether it’s leading a committee, filling an open position, or becoming a Kiwanis Advisor for an SLP, your involvement makes a difference.
- Opportunities to Give: A heartfelt thank you to those who have contributed items for The Jared Box Project, which we’ll be working on with our SLP members on November 13th. It’s inspiring to see such generosity! If you’d like to donate, you can still shop from our Amazon Wish List here: Jared Box Project Wish List.
I also encourage you to attend the meeting on November 13th to help create the Jared Boxes. Working alongside our SLP groups is always a rewarding experience, and I look forward to seeing the impact of our collective efforts.
As we continue through this Kiwanis year, let’s remember the difference we can make together.
Yours in Service and Friendship,
Amy Merrow
