Future Kiwanis Dinner Meetings

  • February 11, 2025 – Kiwanis Dinner Meeting – Oscar Barn 6:30 PM
    • Speaker Peter Saliba – Director – Mayhew Program (Mayhew challenges and helps at-risk New Hampshire boys to believe in themselves, work well with others, and find their best.)
  • March 12, 2025 – Kiwanis/SLP Dinner Meeting – Memorial School 5:45 PM. 
    • Guest Speaker: Granite Edvance (Formerly New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation (NHHEAF) Network)

Topics to be discussed…
  • Career counseling and YouScience assessments to identify strengths and interests.
  • Comprehensive college planning, including essay support, Common App assistance, and tailored college lists.
  • Financial aid guidance, including FAFSA support, understanding award letters, and scholarships (e.g., their Outside Scholarship).
  • A private student loan option to help cover educational expenses.

Finalizing other details for the meeting but the plan is to have a Theme Related to “March Madness”  Where your favorite “College Garb”

    • Speaker – Alyssa Dandrea – Community Relations Specialist – NH Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence
  • May 6, 2025 – Hooksett Kiwanis Annual Meeting – Oscar Barn 6:30 PM – With Board Elections.  
  • May 21, 2025 – SLP Year End Ceremony Venue and details being worked out.
