Beautify Hooksett Follow up

Per request of last month we purchased four shrubs which will be planted around the Welcome to Hooksett signs.  We still have a nice sum of money left so we are considering putting in some Soil suitable for planting and also may build up a wall around the shrubs.  A big thank you to the Board for helping to make this all a reality.  While the Beautify Hooksett Day Committee is not meeting at this point a sub committee was established to do something similar for the Town.  

Pet Droppings on Trails – How to handle? 

• An initial meeting occurred on 6-3-24 to discuss several ideas. The one which we will be focusing on will be putting in Metal Pet Dropping receptacles at the beginning of each Trail. (See image at left for an example). We have several organizations and interested people willing to help with this endeavor.  We are working on a plan with the the Town as to how we can maintain them.  Whether the Town would do it or we might have to ask a few organization to monitor monthly.
