It was wonderful to see so many new faces at our February business meeting at the Oscar Barn. A big thank you to those members who have dedicated time and effort to recruitment, bringing potential new members as guests to our business meetings. The longevity of our club depends on growth, and many of you have stepped up to make that happen. Keep up the fantastic work!
In February, we had the honor of welcoming Donna Pelletier into our Kiwanis family, and we are excited to be inducting Will Gagne in March. It’s always a privilege to see our club continue to grow and thrive with dedicated members like them.
Looking ahead, I’m thrilled about our upcoming Membership Drive on April 14th at the Hooksett Grange, organized by our President-Elect/Membership Coordinator, Carrie Hyde. If you have ideas or are interested in assisting with the planning, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Carrie. I’m confident this event will be a great success!
Additionally, our next meeting will bring together our Service Leadership Programs (SLPs) on Wednesday, March 12th at Hooksett Memorial School. Please mark your calendars! This meeting will have a March Madness theme, so wear your favorite college shirt and join in the fun games we have planned. Our guest speaker will be from Granite Edvance, an organization focused on early career and college planning, starting as early as elementary school. The event is open to all SLP members, their parents, and all Kiwanians.
Spring is on the horizon, and I can already feel a change in the air!
“Springtime is the land awakening. The March winds are the morning yawn.” — Lewis Grizzard
