Notes from the Editor
I had asked in the November Newsletter for members to submit answers to the following Holiday questions:
I had hoped to tabulate the responses and include them in this month’s Newsletter. Unfortunately, I only received three responses, but I would still like to invite you again to submit responses which will be posted in the January newsletter.
In keeping with the Holiday Season and a follow up to President Amy’s message I wanted to share with you a little bit of Christmas Cheer…
Twas the night before Christmas and all Kiwanians were getting ready for a restful night,
Knowing they had another wonderful year bringing joy to many,
President Amy had just decorated the Christmas Tree at Light Up the Village which was so bright,
President Elect Kerri was diligently trying to build our Club’s first Aktion Club which could help plenty,
Secretary Judy found herself helping the Hooksett Community and the New England Communities as the District Secretary Treasurer Sue was very busy counting and accounting for all our funds.
Sue and Linda Bonney also very busy planning Hooksett Winter Carnival for January.
Don’t forget the many who help and participate in the Trail Clean up and Runs.
Barb is busy putting up her Christmas Tree While planning for the Food Pantry,
Tim and Michelle could be busy checking a pocket while working the Kids’ Kloset,
Other Board members: Mark, Shannon, Tim, Stephanie, Rebecca, Matt and Chris are hanging an ornament. They are grateful for the many participants and sponsors of our Golf Tournament.
Other Kiwanis volunteering Events include: National Night Out, Hooksett Beautify Hooksett Day, Kids Safety Day and Several events where Kiwanis gives books away,
As you may be putting up the Holiday Tree of Fraiser,
Please think about helping us this coming year with a fundraiser.
–Bob Willey
