RACE DAY DETAILS:

Our Hooksett Kiwanis 5k trail race is Saturday, September 21st!! 

Shuttle vans will be available to transport runners from the Brady Sullivan parking lot to the Head’s Pond trail head and back from the Library to the parking lot.

The Hooksett Library will be closed during our race. Port-A-Potties will be available at the Brady Sullivan parking lot, the Head’s Pond trail head and behind the Library.

The race will start at 8:30 AM at the Heads Pond Trail.  Last shuttle is at 8:15 AM.

The Kid’s FUN RUN will start at 9:15 AM in front of the Hooksett Library.  There will be goody bags and books given out to all runners. 

Awards will start at 9:30 AM.

LATE Registration will take place on Friday night, 9/20 at the Hooksett Library from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.  Pre-registered runners can pick up shirts at this time too.

RACE DAY – Late registration for 5k from 7:00 to 8:00 AM at Brady Sullivan Parking Lot.  Late registrations for the Kid’s Fun Run will also continue at the Library until 9:00 AM.

RACE DETAILS:

5K trail race at Heads Pond trail – (intersection of Hooksett Road and Post Road, Hooksett, NH) – ending at the Hooksett Public Library.  The race starts at 8:30 AM.

On Line Pre-Registration will be open through 9/19/24. Late Registration will take place Friday, 9/20/24 4:00-6:00 PM Hooksett Library and Saturday, 9/21/24 7:00-8:00 AM at the Brady Sullivan parking lot. (Any transfer of registration without approval by the race committee will automatically disqualify the runner.)

T-shirt and Bib Pick Up

T-shirts will be provided to the first 100 registrants. We will try to honor your size requests. You may pick up your T-shirt and bibs prior to the race on Friday, 9/20/24 from 4:00-6:00 PM Hooksett Library and or can be picked up race day at the Brady Sullivan parking lot Saturday. 9/21/24 from 7:00-8:00 AM.

Age Groups for Prizes

Male and Female Age Groups for the Hooksett Kiwanis 5k trail race: 15 & Under, 16-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 +.

Awards

Cash prizes will be given out to the overall 1st and 2nd place male and female winners: $100 1st place and $50 2nd place. Medals will given out for 1st and 2nd place in each age group, male and female.

Amenities

Refreshments will be provided after the race. Clocks will be provided at the mile markers.

Kid’s FUN RUN Information…

The race will be approximately ½ mile in length and the course will be around the Hooksett Library.  Every child 12 and under who participates will receive a T shirt, a book and a goody bag.  The cost to participate is $5 and a waiver will need to be signed by a parent.  The race will start at 9:15 AM.

If more convenient, you may bring the form and check to the Library Friday evening (September 20) or bring it to the Race Saturday morning.  Registration will also continue at the Hooksett Library after the main race starts.
