This year’s race will be co-sponsored by Merrimack County Savings Bank.  We look forward to partnering with them again for this event. 

RACE DAY DETAILS:

Our Hooksett Kiwanis 5k trail race is Saturday, September 20th!! 

Parking this year will be along University Circle, a road behind the Hooksett Library. Parking for all runners and spectators will be on one side of the street so please observe the NO PARKING signs and cones. You will then walk to the front of the Hooksett Library. A shuttle van will take you and spectators from there to the Heads Pond Trail Head.

There will be a bin in a secure location at the Library for you to leave personal items. Please remember to retrieve them after the race.

Port-A-Potties will be available at the Heads Pond Trail Head.

The race will start at 8:30 AM at the Heads Pond Trail.  Last shuttle is at 8:15 AM.

The Kid’s FUN RUN will start at 9:15 AM in front of the Hooksett Library.  There will be goody bags and books given out to all runners. 

Awards will start at 9:30 AM.

LATE Registration will take place on Friday night, 9/19 at the Hooksett Library from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.  Pre-registered runners can pick up shirts at this time too.

RACE DAY – Late registration for 5k from 7:00 to 8:00 AM at Hooksett Library.  Late registrations for the Kid’s Fun Run will also be at the Library until 9:00 AM.

RACE DETAILS:

5K trail race at Heads Pond trail – (intersection of Hooksett Road and Post Road, Hooksett, NH) – ending at the Hooksett Public Library.  The race starts at 8:30 AM.

On Line Pre-Registration will be open through 9/18/25. Late Registration will take place Friday, 9/19/25 4:00-6:00 PM and Saturday, 9/20/25 7:00-8:00 AM at the Hooksett Library. (Any transfer of registration without approval by the race committee will automatically disqualify the runner.)

T-shirt and Bib Pick Up

T-shirts will be provided to the first 100 registrants. We will try to honor your size requests. You may pick up your T-shirt and bibs prior to the race on Friday, 9/19/25 from 4:00-6:00 PM and Saturday. 9/20/25 from 7:00-8:00 AM at the Hooksett Library.

Male and Female Age Groups for the Hooksett Kiwanis 5k trail race: 15 & Under, 16-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 +.

Awards

Cash prizes will be given out to the overall 1st and 2nd place male and female winners: $100 1st place and $50 2nd place. Medals will given out for 1st and 2nd place in each age group, male and female.

Amenities

Refreshments will be provided after the race. Clocks will be provided at the mile markers.

Kid’s FUN RUN Information…

The race will be approximately ½ mile in length and the course will be around the Hooksett Library.  Every child 12 and under who participates will receive a T shirt, a book and a goody bag.  The cost to participate is $5 and a waiver will need to be signed by a parent.  The race will start at 9:15 AM.
