It is the mission of the Hooksett Community Food Pantry (HCFP) to help those of the local community who are food insecure by providing fresh, frozen, and non-perishable food items, thereby enhancing the quality of life in our community.
The HCFP is a project established for the community, supported and maintained by the community.
The Hooksett Community Food Pantry is a 501(c)3 project officially sponsored by the Hooksett Kiwanis Foundation.
Your support in this mission is deeply appreciated. Kindly be advised that we exclusively accept non-perishable food items donated through food drives. We are unable to accept any over-the-counter medications or drugs of any kind. Additionally, we do not distribute expired food products. We extend our sincere gratitude for your invaluable contribution in safeguarding and supporting our community.
The Community Food Pantry is located at the Hooksett Town Offices at 35 Main Street in Hooksett Village. The Pantry has its own private entrance in the rear of the building.

Mon: 9:30 – 11:30 am
Tue: 2:00 – 4:00 pm
Wed: 9:00 – 11:30 am & 3:30 – 5:30 pm
Thu: 2:00 – 4:00 pm
Fri – Sun: Closed
How to Obtain Food
Individuals seeking help from the Community Food Pantry are welcomed and treated with compassion and confidentiality, assuring that all clients are regarded with the utmost care and respect. The pantry is operated by community volunteers who graciously host clients by appointment weekly. Referrals are not required. Please call 603.485.7222 to make an appointment.
Cash & Credit Card Donations
Cash donations are always accepted and are used to continue the mission of the food pantry and are used to purchase food items or to pay operating expenses. Checks may be made payable to “Hooksett Kiwanis Foundation Inc. Food Pantry” and mailed to the Hooksett Community Food Pantry at 35 Main St., Hooksett, NH 03106. Such donations are tax deductible, with receipts provided upon request. Credit card donations may be made by clicking on the link below:Click here to donate via PayPal.
Planet Aid Bins
For gently used children’s clothing, please deposit in the Kiwanis Kids’ Kloset donation boxes at the Town Offices on 35 Main Street. These boxes distribute clothing to children in need in Hooksett. For other items, the Boston-based Planet Aid Corporation collects shoes and clothing in yellow roadside drop boxes throughout our area. The proceeds fund international programs. Planet Aid selects a designated beneficiary for each donation box, which can be chosen by the host location. The HCFP has registered as a recipient. Tokyo Joe’s on Hooksett Road is currently the only location hosting.a Planet Aid Bin. If your Hooksett business location would be willing to host a Planet Aid box, please consider reaching out to them and directing the fundraising portion to the HCFP.
