The Beautify Hooksett Day is multi-organizational effort started in 2022 for the purpose of cleaning up the roadsides in Town as well the Parks and Trails in Town. Some of the organizations which have partnered together on this effort, include The Kiwanis Club of Hooksett, Hooksett Rotary, Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce, Boy Scouts, Hooksett Conservation Commission and some local churches along with several local businesses. Additionally, the Hooksett Garden Club participates by making ready flower displays at various locations throughout Town. The date is in April every year and coincides with Earth Day.
The day is organized and sponsored by Kiwanis, Rotary, Lions and Chamber of Commerce. It has more than 100 volunteers which are broken up into 15-20 groups together they clean up more than 15 road locations throughout the Town and collect in excess of 300 bags of trash. This year’s date is Saturday, April 18h at 10:00am.
